Typical functions are :
- Requirement development and elaboration;
- SW change request submission;
- SW/Control elaboration;
- Control algorithm design;
- Control algorithm implementation;
- Test plan development and execution;
- Control algorithm peer reviews;
- Control algorithm documentation;
- Control algorithm verification in SIL/MIL/HIL and vehicle;
- Control algorithm integration;
- HIL test case generation and HIL regression testing.
Basic Qualifications :
- Bachelor of Science in Applied Physics, Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, Industrial, or Computer Engineering, or a related Engineering field from an accredited university;
- Demonstrated technical problem solving;
- Strong overall knowledge of vehicle and powertrain functions;
- Experience with modeling, simulation, development, testing, calibration and/or validation;
- Outstanding interpersonal and problem-solving skills;
- Working knowledge of English.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Masters in mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, or related Engineering field from an accredited university;
- Specialization in classical and modern control disciplines with vehicle application;
- Embedded software experience;
- Knowledge of powertrain control system architecture/best practices;
- Demonstrated application of technical excellence;
- Experience with model-based development tools such as MATLAB/SIMULINK, Python, Java and JavaScript, C and C++;
- Experience with data acquisition and analysis tools such as ETAS-INCA.
